Art is Alive

Title: Art is Alive
Medium: Photoshop
Date: February 2009

How do you know when a piece is done? I'd like to add dirty footsteps on right side, slowly fading downward to emphasize that art is in all of us. Footsteps.. leaving your mark on the world.
Instead, I decided to leave the white space, afraid the footsteps would clutter the entire piece.

next project

went to an art gallery in L.A. with a friend and saw alot of inspiring pieces by Audre Kawasaki. So i guess, for my next project, im gonna try some traditional media on wood. my theme for the pieces is centered around fairy-tales and mystical creatures. this is my first piece. as you can see, it is still a work in progress. i'm hoping my second, third, and fourth piece will be much better. and hopefully be able to open my own art gallery in the next year.
